Obviously, the main reason I am interested in the Affiliate Marketing field is the fact that I still do not have my own products or services to sell.
What I have realized is that there is a huge amount of scepticism among many potential Affiliates (including myself) when it comes to the important question whether or how I as an ambitious Affiliate can trust the Merchant or how I can be assured that the Merchant will morally and honestly be paying to me (or into my PayPal account) every time I refer them to a customer who then buys the Merchant's product from my Affiliate link.
Subsequently, my main questions are:

How to research into, find and then select a legitimate Affiliate Program?

How to make sure that the Mechant will really link my PayPal account correctly and properly, so that I know he or she is a genuine and professional person who won't be cheating or stealing away my hardly earned commissions?

How and where can I create a simple web page (landing page or squueze page) with my affiliate link? Please, once again regard me as an absolute beginner and tell me the step by step process of how to set up or create my Affiliate web page as I really do not know how to.

How to ensure the necessary traffic of potential buyers to my Affiliate web site so that I really start seeing some concrete results that's making money online? If it's Pay Per Click that is a solution, please guide me step by step on how to create successful money making Google Adwords campaigns. Or, do you suggest anything better than PPC?

Once again, I am only interested to learn from experienced money making Affiliates and Super Affiliates who have been making lots of money from the Affiliate Programs that they have joined.

Please, do not try to sell me here any cheap ebooks or similar downloadable information products with hyped and long sales copies, because I won't be wasting my money on these any longer.

I find it interesting to post such a question on something as public as Yahoo Answers: I wonder how many people will post dozens of affiliate links to GRQ programs etc!

Personally, my experience of affiliate marketing is making a little income through Amazon Associates (laptops and books) and a Wholesale Directory. In every case, the pages with the links on weren't especially promoting the product in question. You could call this 'passive affiliate marketing'. I did have a lot of traffic though until I sold up.

My current website, I'm focusing a bit more on active promotion where I feature and talk about the product in question. I know you're not going to like the paid material, but Affilorama offers a free level of membership which is quite good. Distributed Generation Technologies: Applications and Challenges

The practice of installing and operating electric generating equipment at or near the site of where the power is used is known as "distributed generation" (DG). The traditional model of electricity generation in the United States, which may be referred to as "central" generation, consists of building and operating large power plants, transmitting the power over distances and then having it delivered through local utility distribution systems.

Distributed generation provides electricity to customers on-site or supports a distribution network, connecting to the grid at distribution level voltages. DG technologies include engines, small (and micro) turbines, fuel cells, and photovoltaic systems.

Distributed generation may provide some or all of customers' electricity needs. Customers can use DG to reduce demand charges imposed by their electric utility or to provide premium power or reduce environmental emissions. DG can also be used by electric utilities to enhance their distribution systems. Many other applications for DG solutions exist.

With existing technology, every industrial or commercial facility including factories, campuses, hospitals, hotels, department stores, malls, airports, and apartment buildings can generate enough electricity to meet its power needs under normal conditions, as well as have back-up power during a blackout.

Distributed generation systems can provide an organization with the following benefits:

* Peak Shaving;

* On-site backup power during a voluntary interruption;

* Primary power with backup power provided by another supplier;

* Combined load heat and power for your own use;

* Load following for improved power quality or lower prices;

* To satisfy your preference for renewable energy

In conjunction with combined heat and power (CHP) applications, DG can improve overall thermal efficiency. On a stand-alone basis, DG is often used as back-up power to enhance reliability or as a means of deferring investment in transmission and distribution networks, avoiding network charges, reducing line losses, deferring construction of large generation facilities, displacing expensive grid-supplied power, providing alternative sources of supply in markets, and providing environmental benefits.

Power generation technologies have evolved significantly in the past decade, making DG much more efficient, clean, and economically viable.

Substantial efforts are being made to develop environmentally sound and cost-competitive small-scale electric generation that can be installed at or near points of use in ways that enhance the reliability of local distribution systems or avoid more expensive system additions. Examples of these distributed resources include fuel cells, efficient small gas turbines, and photovoltaic arrays.

The Tipping Point - Success in Sight

The tipping point, a term coined by others which represents a very important concept. It is the point in a business life when repeat business and referrals create adequate cash flow, revenue, and profits to propel the business forward on its own merit. This is a key indicator and is important for many reasons.

First, it may mean you need not invest heavy dollars in traditional advertising as you have created the ultimate guerrilla marketing plan: word of mouth marketing and referrals. This is the most valuable form of promotion possible and cannot be purchased, it must be earned. This and repeat business from established customers.

Once you have accomplished this benchmark, you need to cultivate it, honor it and preserve it as it too can erode to your competition if you are not constantly watering these sprouts.

In fact getting there, while sometimes a happy accident, can and should become part of a purposeful marketing program, using every aspect of direct communication and indirect communication available to self promote and support repeat business and referrals. It requires a plan of attack to accomplish and should be a first priority.

Of course the ultimate referral is one made directly to a friend or neighbor, which results in additional business as opposed to a referral given to you by an existing client which you then pursue. Both are valuable, but if you are doing a good enough job of delivering your product or service and if your clients feel good enough about the relationship to pass the word along... you have hit the mother lode and success is knocking at your door. But you must cultivate this, nurture it and achieve it.

Caution: this does not happen by accident, and while it is crucial to have a great product or service, you must promote repeat business, word of mouth recommendations and referrals as seriously as you might promote your product or service in traditional advertising to new customers.

Newsletters, Web 2.0, social networking, video, blogging, Facebook, insider special deals, surveys, rewards for referrals and recommendations and on the list goes. But as important as all these are, delivering unprecedented super service counts for a huge amount of successful word of mouth marketing, all adding to your reaching the tipping point, when your market propels you to financial success.

It does not happen by accident. You must orchestrate and promote such success. It is a way to market successfully and supports ongoing growth and development and long term success. And it cost much less than dragging in new customers to reach your financial goals. It deflects competition very successfully and promotes enormous long term success.

There is no other way better to secure success. Make this objective one of your goals.
