How Meal Planning Saved My Marketing
"What can I do for dinner tonight?" Ah, the eternal question every day. It's very disheartening to have to wake up in the morning and think in advance about several hours. One day I decided to fight and not to ask this question again. How? Planning meals. For Saturday afternoon, I sat at the kitchen table with my cookbooks, calendar, memo and paper, and I planned our meals for the entire week - page book of recipes, dishes and all! From this plan was able to create my grocery list for the next day.
I can not put my finger exactly my feelings this week, but was a mixture of relief, pride and satisfaction - I won the battle!
When I decided to apply the same concept to market my company, the results were so good. Then I found my cookbook Marketing - Get Clients Now! by CJ Hayden. Basically takes you through the entire process of customizing your marketing plan for a whole month (which uses analogies, even planning meals - menu action, the ingredients of success, their choice of appetizers, main course and dessert items to share).
As meal planning, the benefits of developing a marketing plan are:
- You work actively measurable and achievable goal.
- You know exactly what to do when entering his office.
- You are not restricted to the paralysis of analysis (equivalent look in the fridge).
- He feels a sense of relief, pride and satisfaction, knowing that you have taken an active role in marketing your business. You're ready, the results ready for action and see.
Being a busy mom and ambitious coach small company, I like that when I have a few minutes to sneak into my office, my marketing plan is there, glued to my desk. Simply choose an object special attention and work on this point. Having prepared my marketing plan for the whole month, and do not sit in my office asking "Where I? What now? "

English is the traditional bitter beer endangered?
I love the stuff (London Pride, Stones, John Smith, etc.), however, seems that very few people under 60 drink. Is it just bad marketing? I do not want a future of no choice or Lager Stout.
